Remembering Steve Jobs

Steven Paul Jobs born on February 24, 1955 was an American businessman and inventor widely recognized as a charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolution. In Agra ABVP General Sec. Umesh Datt lashed out the government on the issue of bringing back black money lying in foreign banks. In this regard he raised the question on the intention of the central government. He appealed the crowd to be prepared for a decisive battle to punish government and bring back black money. In Patna ABVP National Org. Secretary Sunil Ambekar told central government has lost people’s faith and hence it has to go immediately. He further said, even after exposure of huge corruption and public outcry, this Dr. Manmohan Singh government still continuing policy benefiting foreign companies, neglecting common people’s interest. FDI in Retail, is the best example of their corrupt intentions.

Sunil Bansal declared that after these Mahadharnas YAC will intensify its battle against corruption and will take initiative in bringing back black money.

Under the ‘Social Security Cover Scheme’, in the event of accidental death of any resident of Pune district, his/her heir receives Rupees One lakh as financial assistance by Sahara India Pariwar. To obtain financial assistance under this scheme, the deceased should be a voter of Pune Lok Sabha constituency and the heir of the deceased has to inform our organization by submitting an application on a plain paper within 45 days of accidental death to any of the local office of Sahara. The other essential documents like Postmortem Report, FIR and Death Certificate, etc can be submitted later. This scheme was one of the four welfare schemes for the people of Pune which were announced by Shri Subrata Roy Sahara, ‘Saharasri’, Managing Worker and Chairman, Sahara India Pariwar. In time for the big protests today in Greece, labor center Kilusang Mayo Uno picketed the Greek Embassy in Makati City to show support for protestors in the country, saying the Greek government’s austerity measures are anti-worker and anti-people and similar to the policies of the Aquino government.

“The Greek workers and people’s protest against their government’s unsound, anti-worker and anti-people policies are graduating into calls for the ouster of the Papandreou government. The Aquino government, which has been implementing Greek-type austerity measures, should heed the warning of the Greek workers and peoples,” he added.
