Initiated in 1999 after four years of intense research, NAEMD has come a long way having established 11 branches across the country. With more than 1200 students studying every year the institute has been a regular at almost all big events happening around the country.

At NAEMD Apart from class room teachings on novel topics like event accounting, event law etc we also have workshops conducted by guest faculty from the industry, Further field training is mandated in the form of working on live events organised by leading showbiz companies and also planning and organising in-house events

Every course, apart from its intrinsic emphasis on learning the skills of managing events, also adds value to the student’s personality. Faculty constantly strives to enhance the soft skills of the students. Personality development, table manners, self-confidence are all very subtly engraved in the pupil.

NAEMD admits only those students that display earnestness and a passion for events.   The courses have been designed in a way that even career professionals can take up them up. Like any quality college, infrastructure at NAEMD is also taken care to suffice the needs of the students.

Exhaustive library, decent study space, regular and intelligent workshops have all been provided for. NAEMD enjoys a high placement rate with 80 per cent students being picked up during the course itself. The curriculum is updated on a continuous basis keeping it in tow with national and international trends.

PRACTICALITY

A chunk of students’ learning comes in the form of practical field experience.   As an established client-organiser-student interface NAEMD does an average of 500 event tie-ups, each student getting 15 to 20 events to participate in and gain valuable insights of the industry. Students also get certificates signifying their participation in an event given to them by the event organisers. NAEMD organize in-house events for giving in-depth knowledge to students, recently organized JOSH & College Idol was a grand success in ahmedabad. In the month of November NAEMD organizing Mr. & Miss University a national level beauty pageant.

Every day at NAEMD is fun, if one was to believe the students. Stimulated events, workshops, training retreats, outstation event participation and many such activities keep them pepped up and enthuses them to slog it out when the need arises.

COURSES

We even have a Diploma in Event Management (DEM) for undergraduates to blend with their regular degrees and help them venture in to the industry on graduation. The Post Graduate Diploma in Event Management (PGDEM) is a direct entry in the field of Events. Event management is now considered one of the topmost careers. And it is very lucrative for those who are dynamic and want to make a great career. With a decent experience and lot of hard work you can take home a fat salary package. The sky is the limit for the dynamic event managers.

PLACEMENT

We have our centralized placement cell at Mumbai, students are placed in Students are placed at Wizcraft, Lintas, 360 Degrees, Procam, Shobiz, Seventy, Percept, O&M, Cineyug, Platinum, Showhouse, Zee, Fountain Head, Fusion, Divya Bhaskar, Nai Duniya, ETV, Pulse Events, etc. Many NAEMD students started their own event management company.
