Bhopal, Jan 2012: Delhi Public School bid a fond adieu to their passing out batch at school campus here today.

The solemn ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp of knowledge. The flame of knowledge is synonymous to the spark of potential latent in every graduating student.
Clad in black robes and having golden scarves on shoulders and caps on the heads, 221 students of DPS were awarded memento during the Graduation .It was a moment of celebration and pride for each Student when the profile was being read out amidst loud applause by parents and friends. After the profile reading each student after receiving the blessings from the teachers and parents placed a lit Diya on the large school mono on the ground amidst motivational songs sung by the school band.

Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, Chairman, MP Private University Regulatory Commission was the Chief Guest for the Graduation Ceremony.

Ajay Sharma, Principal, Delhi Public School welcomed the gathering and asked the students to make a difference in this world of competition. Mr. Sharma urged the students to stand out amongst the crowd with the knowledge and manners acquired at DPS during their schooling.

Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey emphasized on the need to be focused on one’s goal and also do the needful in making this ailing world a better place to live in. He also congratulated the students and faculty of the DPS for excellent performance.

Hari Mohan Gupta, Chairman, JSWS and Pro-Vice Chairman, Delhi Public School Bhopal-Indore said “DPS, Bhopal is the only school in Bhopal who does such a ceremony and makes its students feel proud of their achievements. Mr. Gupta inspired the students with his words of wisdom.

A few students recalled their memories as a DIPSITE with great enthusiasm. Their promise to outshine their rivals and bring glory to themselves and their school was indeed sweet music to the ears of their teachers and parents.
Mr. Alok Kumar Saxena, Executive Director, JSWS & Director Finance, Delhi Public School, Bhopal-Indore, Mr. Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Director Marketing & Strategic Development, JSWS and Mr. Nitin Ambaselkar, Chief Accounts Officer, DPS Bhopal-Indore, Treasurer, JSWS were also present on the occasion.
