MARG BAGS SIR VISVESVARAYA INDUSTRIAL AWARD

Chennai, India, August 18, 2010: MARG Limited, India’s leading diversified infrastructure development company, was conferred the Sir Visvesvaraya Industrial Award for its contribution to nation building. Mr. GRK Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, MARG Limited received the award at the hands of His Excellency Shri Surjit Singh Barnala, the Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu.

The Award has been instituted by All India Manufacturers’ Organisation (AIMO). In order to recognise outstanding performance of industrial houses, Sir Visvesvaraya Industrial Award is presented to an industrial house annually since 1984, in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. A jury panel consisting of various eminent personalities from different walks of life examines the performance of industrial establishments that respond to the survey, covering various factors, including:

AIMO was founded by Bharat Ratna Sir. M. Visvesvaraya over 50 years ago.
