New Delhi, Delhi, India, March 8, 2010 / IndiaPRLine / — The four days international exhibition cum conference of the tooling industry, The 7th Diemould India – 2010, will be held between 18th to 21st March at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregoan,Mumbai. The prestigious INTERNATIONAL DIEMOULD SHOW has been organised by Tool and Gauge Manufacturers Association (TAGMA) and supported by the Federation of Asian Die Mould Associations-(FADMA) having 10 Asian country associations including China, Japan, Korea,Singapore, India etc.

In fact, this is the seventh biennial edition for the Indian Tooling industry having a market size of over Rs 11,000 crores.

It has excellent response from all over the world, around 20 countries including Singapore, China,Germany, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, the Netherlands, USA and Turkey will participate in the exhibition either through the pavilion or stalls, said Mr. S C Kalyanpur – President, TAGMA

The size of the Indian tool market has grown by average rate of around 15 per cent in last 10 years and was of Rs 9190 crore in FY 2008. The market is expected to grow by almost 20 per cent to Rs 13,280 crore during FY 2010 and Rs 16,080 crore in FY 2011.The plastic moulds accounted for almost 36 per cent or Rs 3,365 crore while sheet metal dies comes to 27 per cent or Rs 2450 crore for FY 08. The contribution from imports has gone up significantly in the last 4-5 years and currently over 32 per cent of Indian tooling demand is met through the imports from international countries, he added.

This focused Diemould India 2010 exhibition will have participation from leading global brands including manufacturers from Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Pune, Rajkot besides Mumbai and will present their latest proven technologies with features on improving the product quality and cost reduction in manufacturing with faster deliveries. The fifth and sixth exhibitions were held in Chennai and Bangalore respectively.

TAGMA will be hosting the AGM and conference of the leading Asian global body of the diemould associations – FADMA will have on the 19th March 2010

The Chairman of FADMA Mr. N Reguraj – TAGMA India along with Mr. S C Kalyanpur – President, TAGMA and Presidents of the Asian Country Associations will do the formal inauguration.
