New Delhi, Delhi, India, March 5, 2010 / IndiaPRLine / — Jaypee Palace and Convention Centre, Agra has been awarded with the Special Prize for the ‘Best Convention Centre’ at the National Tourism Award 2008-09 by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India here yesterday. The five start deluxe hotel has been honored with the award for providing the best Convention facilities and services of international standards consistently during the tenure.

The Hotel, a glorious structural blend of red sandstone and marble, is spread over 25 acres of elegantly landscaped luxuriant greenery. Every year Ministry of Tourism presents this award along with some other categories to state governments, heritage hotels and individuals, for their performance in the respective fields. The aim of these awards is to encourage healthy competition and to promote the tourism.
