Varija just launched her new fashion line for the brides to be at Amara fashion house, Mumbai. Her new bridal collection is called the “Summer Bride”. She is of the opinion that designs have a lot to do with emotions. Her signature style of adding an element of fun to her designs has worked well in her favour.

The collection is vibrant and alive with bright hues that would make any blushing bride look gorgeous. The traditional wear has a touch of modernity to it, making it unique. The practicality of the dresses makes it easier on the bride to carry it for longer. People paid the daring designer compliments on her different approach to bridal wear, making it that much more exciting.

Varija’s take on being fashionable, “Don’t follow fashion blindly. It’s very important to know what suits you. Often there is a fashion trend going on like the anarkali or some particular color that is ‘in’ and everybody is wearing it. This is where a designer comes in, they tell you what suits you and how your should wear it”

The party was a grand affair with guests like Shama Sikander , Vinod Mehta, Sangeeta Khanna, Joy mitra, Ananya Banerjee, Mrs. Malti Jain, Nisha Sagar, M.M Satish, Neeti and Viveka Babaji  to name a few.
