American TV Show Helps Promote BollyWood Movies and Actors



The first ever TV show for Indians in America that focuses on , fashion, and the modern Indian community is launching in February 2010. The show, Hot Chaat, is a variety show hosted by Masala T and Alisha, the Indian-American Host/Hostess Team.

Executive Producer of Hot Chaat, Amarish Dave’, states,”Our audience in North America is very savvy and interested in intelligent information that highlights the diverse modern Indian community living in America. Along those lines, the new Bollywood, that is that have a modern angle and Bollywood Stars that are taking chances with edgy roles are the ones we want to showcase for our TV viewers.”

Hot Chaat also is promoting Indian-Americans living in America that have up and coming careers in fashion, entertainment, and music. He states, “We are getting calls all the time from stars wanting to get their story out. They are realizing the power of Hot Chaat’s audience in supporting their projects.”

The TV show, funded privately, will be free to view on line, avoiding the need for subscription fees on cable television. Executive Producer, Amarish Dave’, “We want to have a large distribution, and the cable networks are generally not open to such a focused segment in America, however, we know the audience is quite large and our distribution strategy should more effecitvely reach them.”
